Originally we hadn’t planned to use a wedding planner at all. However as I began to list all the things we needed to organize, I realized it would not be an easy job! Wow where do I even start, having a planner was not on my to do list when we first started planning our wedding, I had booked 90% of what needed to be booked and then it came to me that I wouldn't be able have control on the day (yes I am a control freak...at times), so I added some wedding pages on facebook and saw every second person talking about how great this Penny Williams lady was and that they couldn't have done it without her help and guidance.

I never thought I'd be able to say 'I'm hiring a wedding planner'. To me, a wedding planner was out of our reach. When penny approached me I still had those thoughts but we got talking and when I realised I could fit her into our budget It was like a weight lifted off my shoulders. In my family I'm the 'go to' person, I'm the one who answers the 101 questions a day and while planning our wedding,

I’ve never really been a 'wedding planner' kinda gal, nor was I entirely happy to relinquish all control on the biggest day of my life....... until I met Penny.

Penny from 'Boda Events & design' goes above and beyond in everything that she does. Wedding planning is truly her passion and she puts her heart and soul into every aspect. She made all our dreams for our wedding come true - I cannot count how many hours me and Penny would have spent brainstorming ideas and talking about the big day.

What can we say about Penny, she went above and beyond our expectation the whole way. I thought when starting to organise our that this was going to be so easy as I had so much time to plan I’m talking 15 months but when it came down to it I really had no idea until I came across Penny.

Penny is just beautiful. So honest and real. She helped with anything i needed and without it seeming intentional she helped keep the process calm for someone who isnt.. Me! She keeps in touch to make sure you're on track! On the day without being noticed she flies under the radar and everything is sooooo smooth! She is incredible and still to this day couldnt thank her enough. When i think of my wedding day i always feel thankful i had her for it all!!

From the time my H2B and I met Penny we decided to relax and enjoy the journey that the 3 of us were going experience and what an experience it was. when we met it was going to a roller coaster ride for 18 months. we do not regret the decision to have Penny from Boda Events and Design in our lives. for 18 months she went way beyond anyones limits in making sure that we experienced everything that we could as this time was all about us. she works very hard in making sure her bride and groom are more than 100% happy. she was more than planner to me. she became a mother of the bride when she had to, she became a maid of honour/bridesmaid, she was there for me at anytime of day or night even the weird hours of the morning. she was a life saver. my husband and I are very greatfull for everything she done for us.

Penny from Boda Events is and was FANTASTIC. The minute I met with her I knew she had to be a part of my big day. Each and every request, question and issue I had was dealt with in the best way. Penny kept me calm on the so I could enjoy my big day to the full potential and not have to worry about anything as I knew she would be handling everything. Penny also did the styling for my wedding and the ceremony and reception space looked exactly as I dreamed and imagined. I cannot recommend her enough to each and every bride to be!!!

So helpful, so professional and an absolute blessing leading up to and on the day of our wedding! Penny made our day more perfect than it could have been. She took away the stresses of the "little details" (and some of the big ones!) so that hubby and I could enjoy the day! I can't thank Penny enough for everything she done, she is a must for any couple planning a wedding!

The contact from you right through my planning was Fantastic and you worked with our budget and were there to sort out any other things that i needed done, like my sugn for the kids and sticker tags for invites. Penny is an absolute god send! She turned my blank canvas of a venue into the most beautiful reception. Nothing was every too much for her. Her knowledge and expertise is obvious as soon as you talk to her. She makes you feel at ease and you'll feel like she's one of your best friends. I cannot thank her enough for making everything turn out perfectly!

I was not going to hire a wedding coordinator I'm so glad We changed our mind, from the moment I met penny it was a huge relief knowing her knowledge, effort, inspiration and dedication to make our wedding day run as smooth as possible and when the wedding day finally arrived it ran perfectly no dramas what so ever and nothing was ever too much effort.
We will continue to refer her to all we know as her work was amazing.
They do say you can't put a price on a wedding coordinator or event planner and you can't!!!!

Where do I even start! From the time we first met penny we knew we had to have her as our wedding planner! Right from the start she was professional, punctual and made us feel so at ease.
On the day she was absolutely amazing, from delivering the flowers to helping us rehearse for our first dance, we could not have pulled the day off without her!

Penny is an amazing wedding planner. At 8 weeks before our wedding, we had to part ways with our first planner. Penny stepped up and saved the day! Not only did she tell me that she could help us, but she told us she could make it our dream wedding. And Penny certainly did. From the decorations, to the flowers and even organising bridesmaid dresses. It was a perfect day. Penny worked tirelessly to make our day perfect. She was in constant contact with me. Day and night. I can't believe how many of the little things we had forgotten to do until penny came to our rescue. Even organising an amazing dance instructor so our first dance was incredible. We owe so much to Penny. We couldn't have done it without her guidance and friendship. Thank you Penny.

Penny is amazing at what she does. She takes everything in her stride. Even with all the problems in my planning process she tackled then quickly with her bubbly personality and assured me the whole time everything would be ok.
She even took my mini melt down in stride, was only worried about me not herself, even managed to make me laugh.
Penny came to my rescue on many occasions, I couldn't have asked for a more bubbly up beat person.

Boda is full of magic. Penny is amazing and passionate about what she does. If she could control the weather; she would. I'd say she'd come close to that kind of magic. She was there for us from start to finish and everything in between. She goes out of her way to help and goes above and beyond her call of duty. She kept the day calm and fun and not a thing went wrong (except a branch almost killing us). She had many roles on the day; dog whisperer, driver, waitress, unofficial photographer, bathroom attendant plus more. I would say you would be crazy not to have a wedding planner and even more crazy if you don't go with the team at boda.

Penny was an amazing addition to my wedding. I never thought I could afford a planner and now know that I couldn't afford not to have one. From the most simple things to the extreme, penny would get anything done. She put all of my dreams into reality as the ceremony and reception were set up and it turned out beautifully. Penny was a late addition to our wedding and was a great addition at that. Myself being a control freak and not really being able to have much control on the day Penny really was my piece of mind. She kept the boys in line and made sure they were ready on time and left for the ceremony on time, she went to the venue early and sent me photos to make sure I was happy with everything, she helped direct the photographer and suggested some great ideas which I am sure will make for some great photos. As everything was already organized for my wedding when Penny became a part of my day she took on my schedule and followed it to a tee. I honesty didn't see much of Penny once the reception started as it is such a busy part of the day but every now and then I felt the tap on the shoulder advising that another formality was about to happen. My day ran very smoothly with very minimal stress and I believe Penny was a big part of this. I can not recommend Penny highly enough I was able to relax and enjoy our day thanks to her.

Penny's dedication to our special day was exceptional. No ask was too big no hour was too late. Penny went above and beyond to ensure our vision was created and day was carefree, both were achieved. She is now not just a planner to us, we look to her as a friend. Thank you Penny Williams x
